Vacant Fulfillment

Thanks to everyone involved in organising the Hired Geeks night, and to everyone who came down, it was proper busy!  Apologies to those who may not have been able to get in, there's only so many people you can safely squeeze into a box.

Next up we have the Vacant Fulfillment boys bringing us some whacked out experimental electronic noises on Saturday night.  As usual, the low tax entry fee and recession proof bar will be on hand to give your wallet some rest-bite, whilst you enjoy the tropical rainforest conditions inside.

Bring.  It.  On.

Colourless Green Ideas

Well we're almost at the half way point of the project and things are looking good, we've had six killer gigs so far and there are plenty more on the way, what's not to like about that situation?

Next up this Saturday June 16th is a special launch night for the final issue of Colorless Green Ideas Zine hosted by Noisestar.  This is going to be a good'un so get dressed up, dolled up, pissed up, rolled up, whatever you need to do to be fully prepared for another sweaty night of loud music in the biggest little venue in Berm-on-sea.

Catch ya there!

The Queens Jubilee

Whilst her majesty is celebrating her 60th year on the throne this coming weekend, we'll be celebrating the fact that we don't have to work on Monday OR Tuesday by throwing an all-dayer on the 4th June.  Bands start at 1.30pm and as suggested in the title, there'll be bands on all day!  Check the programme for details, this is sure to be a right good party so we would seriously suggest you get involved!

Our good friend Mr Tom Lacey has knocked up a right nice poster for the event and will be selling a limited number of original prints on the day, so make sure you bag yourself one.  You can view and purchase his other work here:  http://tomlaceyart.tumblr.com/

See you there!

WEEK 3

We're now almost three weeks into the project and so far it's been banging.  Two awesome shows with six great bands, everyone's had a right good crack and the venue is still standing.  If you haven't been down to visit yet then get yourselves to a gig, you won't regret it!

Next up on Friday 18th May we have Triplemother, a joining of forces between Triplejump and Motherboy to form a promotional party powerhouse in aid of Suzanne & Patrycja's birthday.  They've also kindly asked us to play and it's fair to say we cannot fucking wait!

D-DAY

After 3 weeks of long days and late nights the building of the venue is almost complete, the bar has been 'crafted', the electrics are being installed, doors are on their hinges and the carpet is being pinned to the walls.  Almost time to see how soundproofed this thing is!?

With further work going on behind the scenes, line-up's are being finalised, programmes have been printed, the PA is arriving, fridges have been scrounged and the bar has been stocked with the help of some kind folk with reliable credit cards.

Not a bad job with 2 days to go until the first gig, which is sure to be a belter with Joeyfat, Palehorse and Theo bravely stepping into the firing line on Saturday night, courtesy of promotion stalwarts of the London DIY scene - Silver Rocket and Rip This Joint.  The countdown begins......................
